Students registering for 2 or more terms of the Regular Program must obtain a D-4 (General Student) visa:

  1. Online Application: Apply via the Yonsei KLI site and upload your passport plus your high school graduation certificate (Apostilled or Consular-confirmed).
  2. Financial Verification: Provide a bank statement proving a balance of USD 10,000 or more held for at least one month.
  3. Payment: After application review (2–3 weeks), pay the invoice (2 terms are usually required for D-4 visa sponsorship).
  4. Certificate of Admission (CoA): KLI sends your physical CoA after confirming your bank wire transfer.
  5. Visa Application: Take the CoA, passport, and financial documents to the nearest South Korean Embassy to obtain your D-4 visa.
