Established in 1986, the Korea University Korean Language Center (KLC) is one of the most prestigious language institutes in South Korea. Korea University itself is a member of the elite "SKY" universities, representing the pinnacle of higher education in Korea.
The KLC has educated over 90,000 students from more than 120 countries. Located in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, the campus boasts iconic European-style gothic architecture and a vibrant, student-friendly neighborhood in Anam-dong.
Curriculum & Programs
1. Regular Program (10 Weeks)
This is the flagship course designed for students seeking a systematic and thorough understanding of the Korean language for academic, professional, or personal reasons.
- Duration: 10 weeks per semester (200 hours total).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Morning class) or 1:45 PM - 5:45 PM (Afternoon class).
- Levels: Level 1 (Beginner) to Level 6 (Advanced).
- Focus: Balanced training in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing, with a strong emphasis on active communication.
2. Short-Term Intensive Program (3 Weeks)
Designed for students who wish to improve their Korean language skills and experience Korean culture during their vacation.
- Duration: 3 weeks (60 hours total).
- Schedule: Intensive daily language classes combined with special afternoon cultural activities.

Accommodation (Dormitories)
Korea University offers comfortable on-campus housing options for international language students, including:
- CJ International House & Anam Global House: Semi-private or shared rooms equipped with modern amenities, study rooms, fitness facilities, and high-speed internet.
- Note: Due to high demand, dormitory spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and students are advised to apply as early as possible.
Application Requirements
To apply for the Regular Program, applicants must submit:
1. Completed Online Application Form.
2. Graduation Certificate or Diploma of the last school attended (apostilled or consular-verified).
3. Copy of Passport.
4. Bank Balance Certificate showing a minimum of $10,000 USD (or equivalent) for visa processing.
5. Application Fee (Non-refundable): 60,000 KRW.
