Founded in 2002, the Hongik University International Language Institute (국제언어교육원) has established itself as a premier institution for Korean language and cultural education. Curriculum & Programs

1. Regular Program (10-Week Semesters)

The core program is structured around four 10-week terms per year (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). It runs for 200 hours per semester (Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day).
- Levels: 1 to 6 (Beginner to Advanced).
- Class Size: Average of 12-15 students per class to maximize speaking time and individual attention.
- Focus Areas: Integrated practice of Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing, alongside practical communication skills designed for daily life and academic pursuits.

2. Short-Term Program

During the summer and winter vacations, Hongik University offers intensive short-term courses designed for students who want to improve their Korean language skills while participating in diverse cultural workshops over a 3-week period.
